The 2016 Annual Logies Spit Roast

NOW works with many radio stations and entertainment providers, but we were beyond thrilled to be asked to provide social technology for the legends Hamish and Andy. With over 5 million social media followers it's pretty obvious that the boys' fans enjoy connecting with them on social, so we had to come up with something a little special.

With just 4 days to turnaround the execution, NOW|MOTION aka the GIF was chosen, for its Friday fun feels. NOW took charge of the design staffing and production and created an open style activation. The set-up at the entrance of Cruise Bar, Sydney was simple and in-keeping with the event styling, with the digital branding adding most of the colour.

Guests were directed to act four varying poses (no Boomerangs around here), which were given NOW|MOTION software treatment, to become instantly shareable across social. As you will see below, the Nandos catering rubbed off on the guests, resulting in some seriously Hot and Spicy moves,

What followed was an explosion of #logiesspitroast and a steady crowd throughout the night. With Delta Goodrem, The Madden Brothers and Hamish and Andy themselves, all in attendance, NOW|MOTION got the star treatment-literally.

Take the annual Amazon Web Services summit, add a dash of NOW technology across Twitter and Instagram and what do you get? The Polaroid cloud selfie station. 

In true NOW style, our set-up remained totally on brand (the client's brand that is). The NOW|INSTA station blended seamlessly into the clean, tech feel Amazon lounge. Attendees could share their own messages on the cloud wall and snap a selfie. An interactive touch point allowed them to choose their best photo, print it and watch it live on a big screen.

There's nothing like being able to personalize your Polaroid and get creative. NOW|INSTA can be used across both Instagram and/or Twitter, as we understand that audiences use social platforms in different ways. Suited, booted and NOW|INSTA'd. Over and out.

NOW Marketing teamed up with the most recognizable brand in the world, Coke, once again. This time we were engaged to activate at various universities during O Week.

Coke wanted to give students a branded takeaway and encourage image sharing using the #tastethefeeling, alongside their other campaigns. Using a combination of NOW|SHOOT and NOW|INSTA, depending on the location, we printed thousands of photos and reached over 2 million people online!

This image is us at Macquarie Uni on a scorching 36 degrees day. The students couldn't have asked for more - free hashtag printing and ice chilled Coke!

NOW Marketing partnered with ad:tech Australia 2016, for their latest event held at the Hilton Sydney. Ad:tech is a "two day marketing and innovation conference &exhibition designed for smart marketers and business operators", so naturally NOW was a perfect fit.

NOW wanted to subvert the traditional "expo stand and create an interactive experience to show potential clients how imperative interactivity is to create brand awareness, even on social. We showcased NOW|MOTION (animated GIF) and big screen integration also working with Stackla software. After each shot, user were able to view themselves on screen before the files were animated and turned into a GIF. From the touch screen kiosk, the user could share to a variety of social channels and choose on of their shots to be printed. Simultaneously, the GIFs were integrated onto ad:tech's Instagram page with prepopulated  hashtags #adtechanz and #shareanywhere. 

Users could view their NOW|MOTION on screens at the expo stand and also on our friends at Stackla's screens, once they had been hahstagged. We're proud that our software is designed to work with other software to maximise the effectiveness of the NOW suite.  

Ad:tech was a great experience to meet other companies in our industry and get inspiration for our next software launch (expected Winter 2016...). Our top speakers included @SirRayAvery and @Ryanbonnici because they value as much as NOW, the importance to take the user/customer or client on a journey with your brand.

NOW was engaged by our new client to provide a fun NOW|MOTION (aka GIF booth) at the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle  launch at Carriageworks. 

With a super quick turnaround, we created the artwork and a custom set-up to work with the incredible installation that the client had created. The photos below tell it all, the whole event was simply stunning. 

We can't take credit for all the gorgeous flowers, display and beautiful products, but the BOOTH didn't look too shabby. Black, gold and white was the colour scheme and the booth decor looked elegant and totally on brand.

Four poses and some branding later and the results below are hilarious. The social engagement was our own 3M Miracle with the top GIF getting over 500 views and 200 likes.
